CCSU held a groundbreaking ceremony for the new recreation center which will replace the Kaiser Annex bubble. Deputy Commissioner of DAS Pasquale J. Salemi, President of the CSCU system Mark E. Ojakian, Paul Huang son of the late Huang Change-Jen a benefactor of the university who the new recreation center is expected to be named, CCSU President Dr. Zulma Toro, Alderman Peter Tercyak, Interim Vice President of Student Affairs Peter F. Troiano and CCSU senior Chris Cappiello.
