11/20/17 Wesley Bunnell | Staff New Britain Fire Department Local 922 raised $18,648.80 during their Fill the Boot 2017 campaign which concluded with a check presentation to the Muscular Dystrophy Association on Monday afternoon at New Britain Fire Headquarters on Beaver St. Firefighter Matt Abdifar who acted as the coordinator for the drive signs the ceremonial check on the hood of a fire department vehicle.

HRA employee and food drive volunteer Travis Nichols helps Alderman Bobby Sanchez pick out food for Sanchez to take to five fathers who could not make it to the distribution who are part of the Neighbored Dads Unite.
